Longlegs (Academy Award winner Nicolas Cage) has been terrorizing his Oregon community for 30 years, leaving coded messages at crime scenes. But there's one problem that has investigators stumped: he never seems to actually be present at the murders, which consist of parents killing their families before ending their own lives. Lee Harker (Maika Monroe), a young FBI special agent, is assigned to the case after displaying seemingly psychic abilities on the job. Her superior, Agent Carter (Blair Underwood), agrees with her protests and labels her as simply "highly intuitive." It's not long before Longlegs becomes aware of Harker's involvement and approaches her specifically. As Harker gets closer to uncovering the truth, danger will only come closer to haunting her.
Deadpool and Wolverine [review] The movie is totally cool and epic, lots of action, the characters are incredible, everything, literally Deadpool saved Marvel's skin. The things I liked were the intro, that was the best thing Marvel could come up with, seeing Deadpool dancing NSYNC while he fights in the cinema. The comedy is very appropriate for this movie, at any time in the movie Deadpool looks for the best way to entertain us even more and with his cameos, it's also cinema. The action is completely fabulous, much more when Wolverine and Deadpool fight against the versions of Deadpool and with the cherry on the cake the best scene in the world of Wolverine taking out his mask, finally Marvel heard our prayers. Now Marvel improved a lot with this installment, it left my sister and I with big smiles when we went to the theater. Keep it up.
BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE [review]
Tim Burton returns to his origins using practical effects like puppets and Stop Motion and almost no CGI and it shows, the film is a delight and a visual spectacle, with that eighties aesthetic that made the first one so special, but also with a modern air to connect with the new generations, the effects, hairstyles, makeup and costumes are fascinating, and the characters are too, Michael Keaton returns in an exceptional way as Beetlejuice, with the same enthusiasm, energy and degenerate, manic, exaggerated and funny personality, his presence is much more noticeable here than in the first one, it is as if he had not aged, and Winona Ryder and Catherine O'hara are also incredible again in their roles, Justin Theroux's character is very funny, he makes you laugh a lot, and Jenna Ortega's is the perfect complement, it is clear that she now occupies her mother's old place, and she has a great personality, making you care about what happens to her, but the most amazing and fun part of the film is the afterlife, every place is full of style and personality, and it is very entertaining from start to finish, and it complements very well with the world of the living, it is clear that Burton had a lot of creative freedom and had a great time as did the cast, it is clear that everyone had a lot of fun making this film, and the soundtrack is not far behind, the songs they chose and the soundtrack by Danny Elfmam are impressive, giving it that atmosphere and style so distinctive and 89p8characteristic of Beetlejuice, which is greatly appreciated.
It ends with us [review]
It ends with us, one of the best book adaptations I have seen so far as a reader. First of all, the main thing I picked up on was how the director approached the story, which was great, I didn’t feel like the story was going fast or slow, but at the right time. The color palettes are also great because they fit the story; well when I read the book that’s how I imagined it, on the other hand the soundtrack is very good, I liked the chosen songs. The plot is the same as in the book, and this fascinates me because, in my opinion, it talks about a taboo subject: “domestic violence”. Lastly, the actors are impressive and I felt like I was really with them, they never let me down with their acting. I recommend reading the book and then the movie so you can better appreciate this amazing work.
